PRESIDENT: Audrey Meany

VICE PRESIDENT: Cathy Palmer

Having retired in 2015 from thirty-five (35) years as a Senior Management Accountant for General Motors and bouncing for six years through a couple of public accounting gigs, I serve as the Chief Financial Officer for The International Center of Kentucky, a refugee resettlement agency with offices in Bowling Green and Owensboro. At this stage in my life, my career and my interest in helping others have reached a combination in my current occupation. Proud wife for over 40-years to Alan W. Palmer, and grandmother to Leo (15), Cormac (5) and Lida (3) – with special thanks to my son Chris and his wife Rachel for these gifts.

My public service sidelines have led me through many other areas, having served on a minimum of 25 local boards and having the honor of presiding over the 2017 Convention of Kentucky State Chapter of P.E.O. (an organization dedicated to the education of women in all walks of life). Happy to have the honor of continuing service to my community, especially women, with this opportunity to fulfill the remainder of this term as Vice-President of Bowling Green Business Women. Every activity of this organization leaves me energized and ready to accomplish more with my time. The commitment to professional, personal and educational growth for women expressed in this organization are a winning combination.

SECRETARY: RAEANNE BROWN

I started my career as a music educator in Kentucky Public Schools for 10 years. In 2022, the opportunity to serve as Office and Business manager for my husband’s new law practice out of Glasgow, KY allowed me to leave the teaching profession and start my journey as a Business owner. I am loving spending more time with my daughters, Winnie, 5 and Patsy, 3, being part of the BG Business Women, and being a member of the Board of Directors for the Far Off Broadway Players.

I am passionate about developing opportunities and programs in the arts for youth and young adults in the region. I am a WKU Grad and a Cincinnati Bearcat. Opening the Law Office of Bruce Brown, PSC has been the greatest unforeseen development in my story, and I am excited to be part of the BG Business Women Community!
